This ministry helps those in need. We have a year round collection of clothing which is given to "The Clothes Closet" at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Warren. Food is also collected for our food pantry which is located in our Fellowship Hall. This is always available to help those in need both within and outside the parish.
2005 Tent Troupe Tent Troupe is a traveling Christian summer tent theatre. It is a ministry by high school students from Saint Luke Lutheran Church in Silver Spring, MD. The children's matinee was Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!! and the family entertainment was You Can't Take It With You! Fun was had by all!
Tent Troupe is on hiatis this year due to their youth attending a convention in San Antonio Texas.
2006 Champion Community Fair Our purpose is to have residents of Champion and Warren areas become aware of what is available to them in their own communities. This is a good way to find out about new organizations. Residents are able to recieve information from community agencies and local businesses as well as have an opportunity to give blood, enjoy food and music,and play carnival games.
